Tip 82: Sight-Sing by Using Intervals

If you’re new to sight-singing, try going through the melody and writing the interval distance between each note.

When you start singing, take it slow and think of the melody as just a string of the intervals you’ve been practicing with ear training.

Prefer using solfege? Just write in the syllable names for the notes and do the same thing!
