Tip 47: Improvise Over a Simple Chord Progression

Improvise on a simple chord progression of just two or three chords.

Make sure you give yourself enough time use each chord before you move onto the next, at least a few bars.

Even though your melody will be using many notes in the scale, try to ‘land’ on notes from the chord at least a couple of times in those bars.
